Hello!
My name is Jocelyn Anthony, and in 2025 I started Bluebird Gardens, a small, sustainable cut-flower business. I also work full-time as a nurse in Boston and am the mom of two young boys. Balancing motherhood, a career, and farming is challenging, but Bluebird Gardens is where all those parts of my life come together.
I grew up in Jamestown, Rhode Island, spending weekends working outside with my dad, planting shrubs, mowing lawns, and preparing our boat for the summer. A native plant enthusiast, my dad helped establish the Godena Farm, a 26-acre property dedicated to pollinator and songbird habitat. Those early experiences helped shape me and my own gardening journey.
After moving to Sherborn in 2019, my husband, Matt and I began landscaping our home with native plants and perennials, and gardening became a family activity to share with our boys. Overtime, I discovered the joy of cut flowers. Sharing bouquets with friends and neighbors made me realize it’s the human connection, more than the flowers themselves, that brings me the most joy. In 2024, we transformed our unused lawn into a large fenced-in garden, helping make Bluebird Gardens possible.
Today, Bluebird Gardens reflects my love for nature, family, and community. Growing for our local area has connected me with fellow gardeners, farmers, and flower lovers, and I am endlessly grateful for the support and encouragement I’ve received along the way.
Thank you for being here, I’m so glad you found us!
